The analog part between antenna and digital processing is essential
for all wireless systems. The most critical components are the RF
ICs for RF to baseband (or vice versa) conversion and the ADCs and
DACs that are usually integrated in a mixed signal design.
Your Responsibilities:
Develop highly integrated low-cost solutions, e.g. direct conversion
architectures.
Specification of Systemonic RF-IC· Specification of reference
design
Commissioning of RF-IC and corresponding reference design
Chip characterization
Test prototypes, verify and analyze RF system performance
Your Skills:
Strong background in RF engineering, background in mobile communications
Experience in commercial product development
Experience with RF-Simulation-Tools, e.g. ADS., preferable
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Master Degree in Science.
Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
Wireless Communication Systems Engineers
In our wireless systems team we address a broad range of engineering
tasks including digital signal processing, standardization, protocols,
embedded software, board development and RF. In this team you are
part of the whole development process from simulation over the first
signs of life of a new chip up to the final product. In particular,
we are searching for experts in algorithms, simulation and embedded
software.
Your Responsibilities:
Definition and analysis of algorithms and architectures for
broadband wireless products.
Design, develop, and implement real-time embedded software.
Setting-up operation of real-time systems and verify algorithm
performance.
Your Skills:
Background in communication theory, propagation, error correction
coding.
Experience with signal processing.
Experience with simulation, fixed-point implementation, real-time
signal processing.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Masters Degree in Science.
Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
