Speaker's Notes

Here in North and South America and the majority of Asia, there is one set of popular standards. They comprise about 65% of the available market we will target.

Over in Europe, there is a different set of standards. Being European, let me tell you it will be a cold day when they adopt the same set in use in the States! We believe this market will account for about 25% of the total. Our global customer will not ignore this market and we must have the right solution to meet this requirement.

And Japan, well, of course they have their own ideas about how to serve the market and, of course, their own set of standards. While this market may only account for 10% of the total, the Japanese are early adopters of new technology, providing us with feedback on new products. Also, many Japanese companies will develop solutions for the balance of the world and will want a supplier that can help them service their domestic market.

The bottom line is that any global OEM wishing to serve the entire market must produce products that conform to all these groups of standards - increasing their costs and creating logistics nightmares.

This is where we have a true advantage!!
