SYSTEMONIC ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENT OF HANS ROHRER TO BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Key Industry Figure Brings 25 Years of Extensive Semiconductor

- Systemonic, a leading developer of complete silicon system solutions

appointment of Hans Rohrer to its Board of Directors. Mr. Rohrer
is currently President and Chief Executive Officer of Acuid Corporation,
the leader in terabit-per-second class memory and processor I/O
technology. He joins Systemonic's Board with more than 25 years
of experience in engineering, marketing, sales and general management
at leading semiconductor companies.

Prior to joining Acuid, Rohrer spent three years as president of
Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company - Europe, and two decades
with National Semiconductor Europe. As National Semiconductor's
General Manager from 1995 to 1998, he was instrumental in the company's
ascent to the semiconductor, global top 20. During his tenure as
Vice President and Managing Director from 1990 to 1995, he led initiatives
to expand corporate participation in the wireless technology sector
through refocusing on wired and wireless access technology for the
telecommunications market. Rohrer's career in the semiconductor
industry began with Texas Instruments in 1978 in the microprocessors
and DSPs product groups. He holds a Masters in Electronic Engineering
from the University of Aalen (Germany).
